Bash and Flint’s DAM Team EARTH, WIND, AND FIRE, with Dana Stillinger’s Spike, qualified for 2007 DAM Team Championships!
There were 19 DAM Teams entered at this trial, and after 3 Team runs on Saturday, our team Earth, Wind, and Fire was sitting at 16th place! Bummer! Sunday, we had Team Gamblers and Team Relay. We all ran good gamblers runs with Bash running like a super star and winning his class with a whopping 52 points! That was a definite boost to our standings. On the relay run, Spike ran first and clean! Flint ran second, he ran fast with one refusal at the weaves. Bash ran the anchor leg fast and clean! But none of us even looked at the final standings…and (drum roll please) we did it!!! 10th team to qualify! We apparently all kicked ass on Sunday! 6 E’s later, a whole lot of fun, never giving up and running hard on day 2…and looking DAM good!
Emily and Max paired up as Dr. Jeckyl and Ms. Hyde and qualified for 2007 Championships as well! Our team placed 4th overall! Max is such a great team mate. And Emily definitely holds her own in team events, even placing first in PVP Jumpers!
That’s the update: All 4 dogs are qualified for Nationals in DAM and PVP. Way to go you guys!
