Just measured him the other day while teaching him to stack and he’s 15″ tall. Hope he doesn’t get much bigger so he can stay in the 16″ division!!! Been working on his recall with the ball and working to get him more ball focused. Still prefers tug to the ball but its getting way better. Loaded the clicker yesterday and since we’ve been training The Third Way within 2 sessions an hour apart, we’re already able to shape behaviours with the clicker…we introduced him to the clicker as a much younger pup but we made quicker progress with saying “yes”…now that he’s older and sounds bother him a bit less…he’s decidedly a clicker dude!
Not much more work on agility equipment lately…he has done the tire…but don’t think he knew he was really doing it…hard to tell.
As far as flyball goes, it looks like he’ll be turning left. That’s it for now…click on…

Taught him to “line up” by sitting between my legs facing the same way I’m facing (maybe it’s a you-have-to-be-there kind of a trick). That’s kind of fun and cute. Practicing his spin and arounds a lot as well. And he loves this new addition to his retreiving games. Also, been trying to convince him to sleep in bed with the rest of the gang without trying to organize a party with a bunch of sleepy heads. That’s a bit trying but…we are making headway since he actually fell asleep on the couch with me (after tucking himself under the blanket…think he might be hanging out with Max a bit much ) last night. Wonder what the next trick is going to be…
walking backwards, rolling over…will probably start working on going around a pylon…
