Conquering the chute

27 09 2002

This week Bash conquered the “Chute”…runs through it ears tucked flies thru the end and lands on his target. He has mastered retreiving to hand and likes to tug with it once he gets it to you. Also, working on flat commands…getting around to heel (left side) and then “spin” for getting around to the right side. He seems to be able to focus on a couple of toys at a time and often one toy at a time instead of taking out every single toy in the toy box while he’s standing in it…because they’re ALL the right one! He does also drop the ball/and anything else between your feet and stares at it. This is irresistable…and he has figured this out. Sometimes he throws it at you with so much abandon that he misses then stares at the space between your feet…it’s just toooo cute. But I think we’ve mentioned that every single time we’ve posted.
Check back for more.

History has been made

History has been made…and may not be repeated but it was cool to finally have the little guy “fall asleep” on the couch with me while I watched tv! Maybe it was the running at the park, dinner and the bone he had to guard from the rest of the house…whatever…I just never thought it was possible with the busy little guy.

Bash is having a great time working on his A-Frame and Teeter Totter contacts (2on/2off)…he loved playing at his pal Tess’s place and their teeter that goes down to 2 feet!!! Sure made him feel like a big dog tho!!! Off to puppy class to try more stuff.
